The estate covers a total surface of approximately 14.5 hectares (35.8 acres) of land, the majority of which is covered in vineyards (13.9 ha). The property is set in a valley (not far from Rovereto and Lake Garda) at approximately 300 m a.s.l. and is characterized by mostly flat land.
The microclimate of this area, characterized by constant ventilation and mild temperatures, is suitable for several type of grapes, including varieties that are specific to Trentino and Northern Italy such as Gewürtztraminer and Moscato. Vineyards are all equipped with an irrigation system to support the plants in case of dry seasons.
Around 200,000 bottles of wine are currently produced each year by harvesting roughly 200 tons of grapes. By purchasing additional grapes from neighbouring wineries, it would also be possible to increase the production up to 300,000 bottles.
The winery currently produces the following wines:
The farmhouse or Maso (489 sqm – 5,262 sqft) is laid over three floors:
The wine estate includes a winecellar (884 sqm – 9,512 sqft) on three levels, connected by a freight elevator and fully equipped for wine making and bottling system of the wines
Right next to the wine cellar is a stone outbuilding (232 sqm – 2,496 sqft) currently used to welcome guests and for winetasting events.
Trentino-South Tyrol is a predominantly mountainous region characterised by wines of high quality and considerable depth thanks to the special microclimates in the valleys at the foot of the mountains. Grape varieties such as Sauvignon and Pinot Noir find the ideal environment to flourish, and typically Trentino varieties such as Teroldego, Schiava, Gewürztraminer and Lagrein are worldwide famous. Trentino's vineyards extend over some 15,000 hectares, almost entirely on mountain slopes (86%), and annual production is around 1,100,000 bottles of wine.
The property is located in a valet surrounded by mountains, roughly 7 km from Rovereto and the highway (10’ by car). Trento, a beautiful historical city with medieval and late 19th-century landmarks is just 20’ away by car, as well as its airport. Even Venice and Milan are just a bit over two hours away.
